Hyatt Centric Charlotte SouthPark

KMA was hired directly by the Hyatt Corporation to provide accessibility consulting for the design and construction of this new boutique hotel in the SouthPark neighborhood of downtown Charlotte. Hyatt’s “Centric” brand of hotels is designed to reflect the distinct identity of its individual locations.

The 10-story, 175-key hotel is part of a larger master plan designed by KMA’s frequent collaborators Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio for the Sharon United Methodist Church, which called for construction of a central parking facility shared by the hotel, a residential tower, and the existing church. KMA provided plan reviews and construction walks for this complicated project.
