Northshore Apartments

DHI Communities is a division of D.R. Horton, the largest integrated land development company in the US. In 2021, DHI Communities hired KMA to serve as the division’s sole accessibility consultant for all future projects, and to conduct FHA compliance training for their staff. To date, KMA has consulted on the design and construction of 58 projects in 13 states, resulting in over 17,000 FHA-compliant units.

The Northshore Apartments development consists of 11 garden style residential buildings featuring 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units and served by a common playground, clubhouse, pool, courtyard, and dog park. As with all DHI projects, KMA was tasked with reviewing design and construction plans to ensure FHA compliance, as well as performing site walks during construction.
